Le Marinier
Le Marinier was born in May 2020 by uniting two passions: that of living off the land and that of giving to others. Le Marinier is a retail store selling asparagus, maple products, transformation and local artisans.
This business makes you live a unique experience in store. Entering Le Marinier is like opening the pages of a book on our history.
It is a heritage site/museum that highlights influential people and historical accounts of the various municipalities of our MRC des Jardins-de-Napierville.
About our business !
Le Marinier is the official sales outlet of La ferme Bertrand, a young local farm in our MRC. The surplus fruits and vegetables that are not sold, are transformed into marinades. The recipes for these marinades have been handed down by men and women (Marinier/ères) who have mastered the art of marinades and who hold recipes from the past. Each of the marinades bears the name of their marinier and a brief biography is written on their respective can.
There are 11 municipalities in our territory and each of them is honored by mariners. We want our visitors to feel a sense of belonging and trust.
The world is in a time of change. A return to our roots is inevitable.
The Mariner is more than a business, it’s a legacy to take away.
